BS306-Developmental Biology

Hey!!

We had our first paper today. As the title suggests, it is developmental biology. It is one of my favourite modules this semester. So as usual me and Af get to sit next to each other in the exam hall. We were like waaay at the back. Last row in fact. When the exam starts, Peter had to stand at the aisle in between us. He was standing there over our shoulders like 90% of the exam. It was very distracting coz i can sense him reading over my answers. Him being there also makes me kind of nervous. I really felt uncomfortable and wanted to tell him to go away or at least move around and not just stay there. I do not know why but i have this problem that i cannot concentrate when proffessors/teachers are like breathing down my neck. But alas, i did not tell him that. After some time i force myself to ignore his presence. But it was funny when after the exam, i found that Af too had the same problem. She also thought of asking Peter to move but i guess both of us just didn't bother coz we have better things to worry about...like answering his exam questions. Hahaha. Loki suggested that next time if a similar incident happen, we should write something along the lines of "Please go away, you are disturbing me" on our answer sheet (in pencil of course) so that if the proff is really reading your answers well he will get the idea! Hahaha.

hey, michael sugg an outing tog n i guess it'd be nice. but astrael (if any spelling's wrong, i apologise) won't be back till 21st and i dunno if af's ard (heard she went france on the secret) anyway, just thot i'd write it here first. i'm not v v sure when i'm free yet but i think u can jsut say when and i can see if i can make it. hope u've been enjoying ourselves, angels and demons.

oh, if u've any good sugg on where to go and what to do ard seattle, or anywhere in the US, near enough i guess, do let me know. u might know i'm a bit lousy at this. in fact everything maybe except lazing, wasting time and worrying. thanks!

Alright... For the benefit of Raph (who is culturing somewhere in Japan) and Soph (who is trying yet again to make herself invisible), we were discussing about the Sept holidays.

The (sloppy) minutes for our after-lunch meeting:

1) Chalet...with the usual games (about e.coli and shoelaces )and Loki's 'who's line' + steamboat or BBQ + what to do about a DVD player + don't think we can get a room so late + another option

2) The another option --> KL trip + total cost (transport & accommodation & food & shopping) + where to visit + what to do + how to do them

Sidetrack 1) Finding a name for Asta's 'ender' + Oph wanting to attending a Chinese wedding + Raph or Asta better get married soon for her sake + How Naruto got into the picture (I still don't know..but we do know that if he does have a wedding, Oph will go for the sushi)

Sidetrack 2) The "I know I'm very pretty" girl and friend torturing the Brainy-prof + his responses during tutorial the previous day + the Brainy-prof's "How old are you?" + Pls write down your references for your assignment so that he knows whatever <___> we are writing came from

Sidetrack 3) Oph will photocopy only half a set of notes when she needs to wait three hours for the next lecture to start... [you better NOT make her more irritated or you will only get a third of it... =P I'm so gonna die tmr. Think I better skip the planting-pot lecture...]

Sidetrack 4) Harry Potter Book 6 stuff + (DBD the White riding a white dragon) + Title for Book 7 (in the lecture hall)

Initiation of a new member

Hi all angels and demons!

What good way to start off a new academic year by the initiation of our newest member of the Order. You all know her, she is none other than Shy!! She has been with us for a long time and has finally chosen an angel/demon persona.

Shy is from now on and forever be known as ANGEL DUMA.
Duma is the angel of silence from what i know from Shy.

Welcome Duma! Hope that you will enjoy all the heavenly delights you find from now on. By the way you do not want to*ahem ahem*the demons down below. Not so fancy in Hell, i can assure you. What a perfect way to celebrate Duma initiation and some of the angels and demons birthday all on Friday. So tomorrow we are going to bend the rules a bit, angles and demons going karaoke-ing! Hahaha!
I can bet you it is going to be one hell of a party. (pun intended)

When everyone is back, let's have a session at K-box to kick start our new academic year....and to cheer me up. I'm REALLY getting use to the holidays. However, being in the junior year may be fun... wonder if we can get any rookies to push around =P

hey everyone. as usual me is back when sch starts. juz when me thot the previous hols me is giong to have plenty of time to rest...somethings have to come up. i missed out on all the fun preparing a tteaching seminar. Imagine that. haha. told raphael about it when i bumped into her. luckily the indonesian teachers were nice. they had fun.
" when i first came to the seminar, i expected my trainers to be older than me...." that was what one of the teachers wrote in their journal. haha. and this coming december hols, the lady who employed my friend's n my services is inviting us to indonesia to conduct another seminar over there. thinking of starting an agency. haha anyone interested? good market in indonesia! ;p
hope everyone is fine and sorry af, cudnt visit u. anyways hope this sem is better. oh btw, i have decided to move back to jurong. simei too far for my body! haha...so hope u will see more of me this sem compared to the last. cant wait to meet up!
